Training future plastic surgeons is important. Mark has been running courses for trainees from the UK, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Hong Kong and mainland Europe hoping to pass the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons exit exam in plastic surgery – FRCS(Plast) and European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery – EBOPRAS.

The course is taught exclusively by Mark and covers the following areas; basic science, craniofacial, vascular anomalies and ear reconstruction. Also, Mark shares his experience of preparing for the United States Medical Licensing Exams and how to obtain a Fellowship in the USA.

Teaching methods are via games; drawing; role-play; short lectures; systems learning; thought organisation; bullet-point thinking. Courses are taught in English.

Why choose this course?

Very few courses are taught by paediatric plastic surgeons and give enough time to basic science and these rare complex topics listed above.  Mark’s teaching methods are clear, give confidence to delegates that lead to success. Although there is no guarantee that each delegate will pass their exam each candidate is given the best possible opportunity for success.

Feedback from previous delegates

“Dear Mr Lloyd,
Thank you for having us today for the course and all your efforts; it was, as you predicted, fun! I found it very helpful and i hope i will be successful this time around, having a more focused approach. I know i still have to improve, but I’m more confident.

Best wishes,

Stratos”
